| (A) Automobile (Full Coverage) |
| Automobile insurance is property and casualty
coverage for automobiles. |
| (BB) Bail Bond |
| Bail Bond insurance is surety coverage for bail
and is a form of bond given to guarantee that a person released from legal
confinement will appear as required in court, or the penalty of the bond will
be forfeited to the court. |
| (C) Casualty |
| Casualty insurance is insurance coverage against
legal liability, including that for death, injury, or disability or damage to
real or personal property, and surety. |
| (CR) Credit |
| Limited line credit insurance includes credit
life, credit disability, credit property, credit unemployment, creditor-placed
(also known as forced-placed), nonfiling, involuntary unemployment, mortgage
life, mortgage guaranty, mortgage disability, guaranteed automobile protection
(GAP), family and medical leave insurance, and any other form of insurance
offered in connection with an extension of credit that is limited to partially
or wholly extinguishing that credit obligation that the commissioner determines
should be designated a form of limited line credit insurance. |
| (DS) Dental Service |
| Dental service insurance is a health insurance
contract providing payment for certain enumerated dental services. Producers
for this line of authority must have and maintain authority for Accident and
Health or Sickness (Disability) Insurance. |
| (H) Accident and Health or Sickness (commonly
known as Disability) |
| Disability insurance is insurance coverage for
sickness, bodily injury, or accidental death and may include benefits for
disability income. |
| (IF) Industrial Fire, commonly known as Debit
Fire |
| Industrial fire insurance is fire insurance sold
through a debit agency system. |
| (L) Life |
| Life insurance is insurance coverage on human
lives including benefits of endowment and annuities, and may include benefits
in the event of death or dismemberment by accident and benefits for disability
income. |
| (LS) Legal Service |
| Legal service insurance is the assumption of a
contractual obligation to pay for specific legal services or to reimburse for
specific legal expenses, in consideration of a specified payment in advance for
an interval of time. |
| (MC) Motor Club |
| Motor club membership provides members with
assistance in matters relating to the ownership, operation, use or maintenance
of a motor vehicle. |
| (P) Property |
| Property insurance is insurance coverage for the
direct or consequential loss or damage to property of every kind. |
| (PL) Personal Lines |
| Personal lines insurance is property and
casualty insurance coverage sold to individuals and families for primarily
noncommercial purposes. |
| (RV) Rental Vehicle |
| Rental vehicle insurance is personal accident
insurance, liability insurance, personal effects insurance, roadside assistance
and emergency sickness protection programs, and any other travel or
auto-related coverage offered by a rental company in connection with and
incidental to the rental of vehicles. |
| (V) Variable Life & Variable Annuity |
| Variable life and variable annuity is insurance
coverage provided under variable life insurance contracts and variable
annuities, which are contracts under which obligations are assumed with respect
to periodic payments for a specific term, or terms, or where the making or
continuation of all or of some such payments or the amount of any such payment
is dependent upon the continuation of human life. |
